I installed the GT623 saddles over the weekend. Once I set intonation and string height my American Telecaster Deluxe became an entirely different instrument. She sings :). With the SCN neck pickup only the sound and string balance is sweet with almost a piano like quality. With both pickups turned on the guitar comes alive, I am able to go from pure telecaster to chimey ring tones just by varying pick position. It is in the lead (bridge) position that the guitar is a sonic monster. You want harmonics, they are everywhere. You want Yakety Axe lead tones you got them. You want to break things with high octave antics go for it. This guitar did not get much playing out time, it was just too mellow and non responsive for live performances at least to my ears compared to my other telecasters. Not any more. Sustain, tone, string balance, she has it all now. The saddles woke her up, gave her attitude, and made me a very satisfied customer. Thanks for a wonderful product.
